Heute wollen wir euch mal Bilder von unserer Hauptbeschäftigung (haha ;) in Singapur zeigen. Diese ist: Durch Einkaufszentren bummeln! Es ist einfach einzigartig. Eine Shopping Mall übertrifft die andere! Es gibt so gar eine namens Citylink, die zwei weitere Shopping Malls miteinander unterirdisch verbindet, andere wiederum sind gleichzeitig Freizeiteinrichtungen mit Swimmingpools und Spielplätzen. Grundsätzlich, haben wir rausgefunden, sind sie einfach praktisch weil alles klimatisiert ist und man so dieser wahnsinnigen Hitze und Schwüle entkommt. Bei Schlechtwetter schützen sie vorm Urwaldregen, wo es wie aus Kübeln schüttet. Somit sind Shopping Malls doch eine wirklich gute Erfindung, oder? Was die Preise betrifft, so ist es hier zwar grundsätzlich ein bisserl billiger als daheim, für wahre Schnäppchen ist man glaub ich aber in Bangkok besser dran. So - hier die nackte Wahrheit in Form von Fotos!
More Shops ... sehr bezeichnend für das Einkaufsparadies Singapur. Hier kann man immer und überall mal viel mal weniger Geld loswerden.
Oh Gott, ich seh schon ganz verschwommen. Menschen über Menschen über Menschen - Alltag in der Orchard Road - der Einkaufsstraße Singapurs.
Takashimaya - eines der größen Einkaufszentren in der Stadt. Hier gibts nichts was es nicht gibt. Von Chanel über Luis Vuitton bis hin zu Prada und Armani - diese Boutiquen sind hier tatsächlich gut besucht. Reiche gibts hier genug. Aber auch für normale Geldtascherl gibts hier auf 1,1 ha genügend Läden. Auf jeden Fall gehen einem hier die Superlative langsam aus!
Wir befinden uns weiterhin in der Orchard Road: Schon mal so einen Bentley in natura gesehn? Wir bislang auch nicht! Hinten sieht der gelbe Ferrari direkt klein aus dagegen, nicht wahr? Aber im Ernst: Maseratis, Bugatis, Lamborghinis und Aston Martins sieht man hier täglich. Da bekommt man schnell den Eindruck, das Österreich eigentlich ein armes Land sein muss.
Bugis Junction - ein weiteres Shoppingparadies mit direkter Anbindung an die MRT (U-Bahn).
Dieser Markt gehört ebenfalls zum Stadtteil Bugis - so viele exotische Früchte! Nur zugegeben stinken die teilweise ganz komisch.
Es muss einfach mal gesagt werden: Hannes ist kaufsüchtig - hehehe. (Jaqui's Taschen zeigen wir hier einfach mal lieber nicht her ;)
Alte Tradition - ein Kaffeetscherl bei Starbucks mit Strawberry Berry Tarte.
Frisch gepresste Fruchtsäfte oder Kokosnüsse inklusive Strohhalm zum Schlürfen gibts hier an fast jeder Straßenecke. Lecker!
Und spät abends um ca. 22h sperren dann auch die letzten Geschäfte zu - Zeit heimzugehen.
